Job Title: General Manager, Engineering Sales Division
Location: Lagos

Job Description
- Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have full responsibility for achieving the sales objectives of the Division.
- You will ensure consistent growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment, and management of the sales team.
- You will obtain profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counseling, skills development, and product knowledge development; managing the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, and streamlining processes and systems.
- You will develop a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organisation’s presence in the market.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead in providing overall vision, strategy, tactics and goals for the division.
- Develop an annual sales strategy and business plan to drive divisional growth.
- Show adequate knowledge of key decision makers in the industry.
- Develop and manage annual divisional budgets.
- Hire and participate in the training of the sales force.
- Ensure the sales force is motivated and focused on target delivery.
- Lead market research and competitive analysis in order to identify threats & opportunities and develop the required immediate response.
- Propose complementary strategies across Group divisions to strengthen the company’s market share position.
- Act in the best interest of the company at all times and ensure the company’s brand equity is not eroded.
- Evaluate the performance and productivity of the sales force.
Mandatory Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Degree
- Minimum of 15 years experience in sales/business development focused roles with demonstrable achievements
- Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Proven ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience in high-end client engagement, marketing communications, product branding and sales conversion
- Great networking, prospecting and closing skills.
